Ultimate Member Integration

  • Hi Peter,

    I have been using your plugin for lot of time. and am more or less in love with it. Though one thing troubling me is that the @username won’t link at all. I don’t really know why it is happening now, and also I was wondering how could I link to ultimate member plugin’s user profiles. I am using hestia theme by the way

    Please tell some way so that the usernames get linked to a specific url structure, or if possible give a option to integrate hashtags with the Ultimate member. Peter this would be a really great help to me.

    I assume you have activated the @username handling in the “Usernames Settings” tab?

    Is no link generated at all or is a non-functioning link generated? If no link is generated then the username is not found. In that case check the “Username” field in the user’s profile. If you want to use the “Nickname” (which is recommended) you have to activate the “Use @nicknames instead of @usernames” option.

    I’ve never used Ultimate Member and I do not know anything about the structure the data are stored by this plugin. For that reason I can not say anything at the moment. I’ll take a look at it once – but I can not promise anything. I do all the plugin development and maintenance just for fun when I have the time. Therefore the effort that I can invest is limited.

    Hi thanks for reply, i can assure that no link is generated. I have done plugin conflict test. I can assure that it is set to take usernames(not nicknames) and username that i put in post was right. It does not work on old as well as new posts. Hastags are working fine, usernames are just showing as normal text, not even a wrong link just text
