• Hello,
4 months ago @yukiko-kawa cited an Ultimate Member conflict with an iTheme Security option: “To load profile and cover images, the plugin option called “Disable PHP in Plugins” in the “System Tweaks” tab must remain OFF. Then loading images will work properly.”

UM responded, “we will investigate this issue” and the inquiry is marked “resolved,” but it is not.

Because currently, turning this Disable PHP in Plugins option OFF has another problem: unless it is turn OFF all the time, how can a new member upload his/her profile picture?

This is exactly an issue I am having, and I cannot afford to turn this security option off all the time due to the obvious security protection it is offering. Please help!

    Hi @john-wong,

What version of the plugin you have installed?
Do you see any error messages?
Have you tried to do a conflict test so we can rule out conflicts with other plugins?
Here is the doc on how to do a conflict test if you are not sure.

    Regards.

Thank you for your response. I finally have all the answers for you:

    I have installed version 1.3.88.

When I tried to upload an image for the member profile, a red ERROR shows up and I could not proceed to upload the image.

Yes, conflict test has been tried, and that’s how my web guy found out when iTheme’s Disable PHP in Plugins option is turned on, this issue happens; if the option is turned off, there is no problem to upload the image.

iTheme has responded and confirmed that if I keep the option on, I cannot use Ultimate Member. So, PLEASE see if you can resolve this conflict. I hate to switch to another membership. Thanks
