UK Date Format in Admin Screen

  • Hi,

    I’m in the UK so in Settings > General of my WordPress site,the date format is set as: d/m/Y (ie 03/09/2013 for 3rd September).

    However, dates in the admin area are in Y/m/d format (ie 2013/09/03. How can that be changed so dates are in UK format?

    To explain why: I copy that date from the admin area and paste into the Company Name in the Testimonial so that dates are shown along with each testimonial (there seemed no other way).
