    Hi there,

for my client, I’m using the UIpress plugin that helps to modernize and customize the wordpress’ backend. UIpress loads the backend content per iframes except for external urls. So far so good.

In your plugin there is the Stripe “Click to connect”-button. By clicking this button, UIpress tries to load the destination per iframe (not sure why) which leads to an error (I think Stripe blocks it). I guess the workaround is right-click on the button and continue the step with a new tab (?).

Is it possible from your side to add the attribute target=”_blank” to fix the problem? In case, this is a correct way. But maybe you know a better way. What are your thoughts?

This behaviour also counts for your PayPal plugin.

    Thank you.

    Hi @auditt,

The url associated with the Connect button is an external url though, so that seems odd your UIpress plugin would attempt to load in an iframe.

Is it possible from your side to add the attribute target=”_blank”?

I am hesitant to add that because that means the merchant would then have two tabs open for the API Settings page; one from when the page loaded and one from when they finish the connect process and are redirected to the API Settings page. The original page will contain stale data and if the merchant saves that page, it would override the data saved during the connect process.

That could lead to all kinds of confusion.

    Kind Regards
