    Hi Chris

I can get screenshots but they won’t paste into this format. While I am appreciating your help, I am feeling that this is taking a lot of unneceassary time for you and me. It would be much easier for you to just have a look at my site backend. I can get screenshots and I could email them to you, but I gather I can’t reply to the email you sent and I can’t paste them in here. I downloaded tinygrab but it wouldn’t open. I also don’t know what &gt means.

So here is the story via text. In my fields there is:
    full name
    company
    position
    company website
    location
    date
    photo
    testimonial title
    testimonial

My custom fields in my views are:

    client_name
    position
    company name
    location

The custom fields that come up in the testimonials are:
    client_name
    company name
    company website
    dates
    featured media
    location
    nofollow
    postion
    uib

RE the link. In the back end the link works. I have created a link within the text and it comes up underlined and when I mouse over it it shows the link. But on the front end the link isn’t there.

    Hope this helps clarify

    Wendy

There is nothing in my plugin code named “uib” so something else is going on.
Please double-check and confirm for me (1) that your fields in Testimonials > Fields are correct, and (2) that the custom fields in the View editor match. The View should only display those fields even if you or another plugin has added a custom field in the post editor.
Links must be of type “url” in Testimonials > Fields to be displayed as clickable links.
Try TinyGrab or Jing to share screenshots. You can always delete them later.

Hi @cdillon27, Can you try to avoid mentioning the login details bit on the forums? Asking people to contact you is fine and of course you can do what ever you want on your private support channel. Thanks.

    Wendy,

I just realized you may be talking about the Custom Fields meta box in the post editor, not the displayed testimonials on a page. If so, those other fields are valid. For example, nofollow is used by Strong Testimonials for the company website links. The other fields must have been set by another plugin.

The Custom Fields meta box is secondary to the Client Details meta box. In fact, the latest release hides the Custom Fields box by default. Always use the Client Details box to edit your testimonial data.

Feel free to re-open this or contact me at wpmission.com if I can help further.

    Chris
