• As usual, another newsletter plugin that gave little thought to the submission form and didn’t think to create an easy way create a custom submission form. Even a CSS expert has difficult editing other peoples code.

How easy it would be if there was a drag and drop submission form packaged with the plugin that didn’t just rely on the theme’s css.

I’ve been attempting to change the words ‘Your email address’ for an hour because no where in the documentation does it tell you want the mailchimp CSS is for the text.

All I need is a box for the email address and the word submit, not a button, just the word submit to the right of the email box, not under it.

    Hi Keeperbay,

Would you like us to help you change those words before you spend any more time on it?

For what it’s worth, there are various drag & drop form plugins with MailChimp integration out there but it’s all a big tradeoff between flexibility, performance & feature sets. I doubt that these other plugins will get you to your desired solution. It is really not easy to provide a universal solution when it comes to appearance. WordPress themes do not make it easy.
