ugin is great, but not the spam ad

  • The newest spam Banner in the backend “install Ticket Plugin” cannot be removed at all, It can be clicked away and comes back right after.

    Sorry, but that is a nogo. If every plugin vendor would do that, I would need to scroll 50 pages to the content all the time.

    Please stop that spam. I will in parallel report that to www.remarpro.com.

    Our notices specially for cross-promotional material are dismiss-able, but more important than that is the security around the AJAX requests that actually do the dismissal.

    On certain servers there is a bug that makes the nonce’s used on those AJAX requests fail to validate properly, it’s not intentional in any way.

    Even tho this is a bug on the Hosting side, our team is working on a solution that will ensure that the notices are still dismissed even when this hosting problem is present.

    If you want to permanently remove that upsell:

    add_filter( 'tec_should_hide_upsell_event-tickets-install-notice', '__return_false' );

    Sorry for the inconvenience, please let me know if the above works to remove the notice on your case. I will let our support team know to update you here once we have a solution that ensures that even on hosting that have this nonce bug the notices are dismissed properly.
