Ubnable to create/edit variable products

  • After upgrading to 3.0.3 I can’t save product variations. See screenshot.

    It allows to save variation price, image etc but dosn’t allow to save attribute choice.

    It doesn’t work with default WP theme. Also it doesn’t work when all plugins are disabled. So it neither theme issue nor plugins issue.

    My suggestion. Old API returns prodcut attributes names with cyrillyc symbols like pa_%d1%86%d0%b2%d0%b5%d1%82, but new ones returns names like pa_цвет (it is a color). So comparison of these variables is not possible.

    Exact steps needed to reproduce issue:
    1. Create product attribute with cyrillic name and with 2 or more options. For example Цвет (color) with values Красный (red) and Синий (blue)
    2. Add 1 variation to existing product. And choose value Красный (red)
    3. Save changes, save products.
    4. See screenshot. Attribute is not saved but is reset to Any Цвет (Any color)
