    HI All,

    I am new to using Custom Post Type UI.

    I have added taxonomy and linked to a custom post type. However, when I add my first post of that type and assign taxonomies I receive the error publishing failed. Error message: Invalid parameter(s): status

    My Taxonomy status is a very simple taxonomy with two option Available or Unavailable. As I said this is my first post of this type so there may be issues with all the taxonomies but this is the first error I have received and means i cannot publish.

    Hi Jenn,

    Can you visit your “Debug Info” tab found in the “Tools” menu for CPTUI and paste me the contents of the large textarea there? I’m curious about some of the settings and configuration and this will provide enough for me to look things over. Zero personal data should be included, outside of the domain for your site.

    I also had a taxonomy with the name “Status” that caused the same error. the name probably conflicts with an internal name. I changed the taxonomy to “Article Status” (including changing the slug), and the issue went away.

    I could very easily believe this being the case as a lot of internal things can tend to conflict.
