    The 20221002 changelog included this:

    • Deprecates Universal Analytics analytics.js

    Just clarifying it’s been deprecated but not removed…

    Yup. That is correct.

    You can visit the plugin homepage and/or settings to find that Universal Analytics remains an option.

    No plans on removing Universal Analytics from the plugin. Just advising users that it’s been deprecated by Google.

    My partner thinks deprecated is when a 10-year-old car isn’t worth the same as the day they drove it off the lot ??
