Typography Option is Gone?!?

  • Hi. I just updated Engrave Lite and was disappointed to see that the “Typography” option is gone. I had set all of my pages to Ariel (16) but they’ve now reverted to Engrave’s default font (which is much more difficult to read). Is there a way to get Engrave to use Ariel (16) again on all the individual pages I’ve created? Thanks!

    Is there still a chance that typography will reoccur in the administration of Engrave Lite? And what about customizing the copyright (should be possible according to your documentation)?

    Hi Ploink,

    The typography options will not be added back in as this is plugin territory and WordPress guidelines will no longer allow this.

    The copyright text cannot be changed and has never included an option for this to be changed. Removing the copyright message is a premium feature. There is no safe way to remove the copyright message in Engrave as you’ll need to touch a php file and also any changes will be overwritten in a theme update. Incorrectly changing php files can result in your site breaking.

    The documentation will be reviewed in the next update changes made to ensure that the Copyright message settings are correctly detailed.
