TypeError: Object doesn’t support property or method ‘contains’

  • I have installed the newest version of Elementor and done everything else the support pages says. I have installed GeneratePress theme (which I was told always works) and chose “Elementor Canvas” but it will not let me drop ANYTHING into the page are. It will not install a theme, show me the section options or allow me to drop anything in the page.

    The debug keeps giving me
    TypeError: Object does not support property or method ‘contains’
