type of optimisation by plugin

  • Hello Everyone..

    Please let me know about the working of the plugin..What is does actually…???
    It optimises the databse but i am unable to understand which type of optimisation occurs. for example a wordpresss plugin will remove the unused revisions of the post in wp_post table etc.
    How can we justify that this plugin works properly and have solved our problem of database..

  • When items are removed from wordpress, they are removed from the db, but they leave an overhead. This plugin removes the overhead, optimizing the database tables.

    However, this plugin is oudated and causes a few errors when using debug mode.
    It may be better to simply visit your db and optimize the tables yourself.
    I too am looking for any other plugins like this that work with the latest version of wordpress, but I have not found any.
