Type of files allowed

The plugin uses the WordPress Upload system, so file types restrictions are related to it. You can find tutorials on the internet on how to write code to expand the list of WordPress supported MIME types for upload.

My GD bbPress Toolbox Pro plugin implements an enhanced attachments upload that includes options to limit file type you want to allow, and to add new MIME types for files that are not officially listed in the WordPress MIME types support.
