Tying Dates Into Calendar

Hi! Just wanted to see if it is possible to actually tie in funeral dates into the wordpress calendar? I know my client is wanting it that whenever you put a funeral date on the obituaries that it lets people know the dates on the wordpress calendar widget.
Just thought I’d ask. Thanks!
