Two Words: Marry Me!

I know that, theoretically, migrating a site should be easy. Just export files and data from the old site, then import them into a new one. In the real world, however, differences between servers, gremlins, and the persistence of Murphy and his damnable Laws make what should be an easy task an all too common nightmare.

All-in-One WP Migration just released me from my latest one.

The only hitch I had was that the file upload would hang when trying to import the file to the new server. Fortunately, I found the support post that said to place the desired file in the backups directory. That did the trick!

I am SO going to tell my friends and colleagues about this plugin!
