Two Windows Pop-up when image is clicked

  • I have a gallery created to display images in a slide show form.

    When you click to open the image you get the image twice:

    The first time it appears to be within a white box centered on the site and the second is the slideshow effect.

    When the first is closed the second moves to the left of the screen and has to be also closed to get back to my gallery page.

    What can be done to fix this. It is EXTREMELY annoying.

    I had the same or similar problem, then I turned off the plugin pop-up image. I don’t remember the exact name of the plugin but as I said it was the plugin with which you could enable the pop-up picture.
    Try to disable – deactivate some plugin with effect of that kind.

    It was actually a set-up within the theme that opened images in a lightbox view. So it was opening them in the theme lightbox view and the plugin lightbox view.
