    Hi guys,
I am just beginning to get errors building up in Webmaster Tools as follows:
“The tag ‘meta name=viewport’ appears more than once in the document.”

Any ideas as to what could be causing this?

    <!doctype html> <html amp> <head> <meta charset=”utf-8″> <meta name=”viewport” content=”width=device-width,initial-scale=1,minimum-scale=1,maximum-scale=1,user-scalable=no,minimal-ui”> <link href=”https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Merriweather:400,400italic,700,700italic|Open+Sans:400,700,400italic,700italic” rel=”stylesheet” type=”text/css”> <meta name=”viewport” content=”width=device-width,initial-scale=1,minimum-scale=1,maximum-scale=1,user-scalable=no”> <meta name=”amp-google-client-id-api” content=”googleanalytics”> <title>Understanding the Main Causes of Acne and Dealing With It</title> <link rel=”canonical” href=”https://youracnepro.com/what-causes-acne/&#8221; />

  • Hi @lancecarr,

Can you tell us which version of the plugin you are using?
Is it happening everywhere? Can you try clearing the cache and disabling AMP minify option and check?

    OK now, I found it.
I had an old Instant Articles plugin still running and it was adding the second viewport meta tag.
Thanks for tip on disabling minify as that allowed me to spot it.
