Two title tags on pages

If you do a conflict check and temporarily revert to a default WP theme such as TwentyTwenty and only Yoast SEO as the plugin enabled, does the issue resolve itself and only a singular title tag output?

You might have to check if your theme is also outputting a separate <title> tag – https://yoast.com/help/my-seo-title-isnt-displayed-as-i-have-entered-it/#theme-support
