• Hello,

This is my first time posting and have already searched the boards and the internet for a solution. Sadly, I can’t find anything that simplifies my problem or gives me a solution.

I want to create two levels of navigation so that only categories show, and when rolling over them, sub-categories show on a secondary navigation. Basically, a drop-down or two-tiered navigation.

I know there is a command to list categories, but is there a way to only list main categories and then place sub-categories into embedded lists? I have found a few plugins that somewhat do the job, but they are not exactly what I am looking for.

If there are any topics that already address this, please point me in there direction. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

  • without a plugin, most will say it is complicated. you can find functions by searching codex for get wp_list_pages and wp_list_categories but there is also the css styling.

google has quite a few selections that you might have overlooked = Google results for WORDPRESS PLUGIN DROPDOWN MENU
