I have an installation that has a nice theme installed, but I would like to have certain pages to use a different theme. Is it possible to do so? Ideally all posts within a specific category should pick the second theme, but if you have different ideas for a hack like this I am open… I am already using templates in the first theme to have different kind of layout for different kind of pages. But now I need a whole section of the site to look dramatically different and I have found just the perfect theme for it…
I’d appreciate some help, if this is even feasible.
    Thanks in advance,
    FG

  • Use the same theme, just create a second header, footer and stylesheet, and then use a conditional statement to switch these in when you need.

I’ve not done this personally (definately capable) but i know it’s been discussed (secondary headers, etc..), so i’m sure if you have a search through the forums you’ll find the answers you need… ??

If you have problems finding the info, post back and i’ll have a dig for you…
