Two Textdomains in Forum Release due to Framework

Hi,

we are going to submit our selfdeveloped theme into the WP theme repository.

We are using a framework, our SV core, which is used amongst our plugins and themes. This framework hast it’s own textdomain for translation.

While it technically works without issues to use our theme with it’s own textdomain and the framework within with it’s own, the guidelines for themes are not clear enough for me:

All theme text strings are to be translatable.
Include a text domain in style.css.
Use a single unique theme slug – as the theme slug appears in style.css. If it uses a framework then no more than 2 unique slugs.

So it says, there are two slugs allowed, but does it also apply on the text-domain?

It would be quite a hassle to maintain text-domain and translation for the framework in different releases, so that’s why I am asking:

Is it allowed to have two textdomains within a theme-release, when one is caused by using a framework?

Hi .you can use two text domains. But the framework can’t have functionality in it that is plugin territory
