    Hi!!

    So excited to see widget functionality added in the latest version…now works on all my sites, no matter the theme! Thank you…is there a donation button somewhere — or should I wait for a “Pro” version? ??

    Just a few small suggestions, please:

    1) In the widget, the drop-down menu probably should start by listing Ad Groups first, then all the individual Ads, as there would likely be so very much more individual units than groups, making for unnecessary scrolling.

    2) The widget could also probably use a custom title option!

    3) The “Ad Groups View” should have group or set members listed in a more tidy fashion — perhaps instead of giving each individual ad unit its own line within the group “block,” list units one after another “inline: (in the CSS sense), separated by commas, or use a drop-down menu…because a plethora of units makes for unwieldy visuals, never mind workflow!

    There will probably be a donate link in the next version, but if you really are into ad optimization and like to spend some money, there will be a couple of really cool addons available through https://wpadvancedads.com

    1) you might be right, but I would first just test it as it is. there might even be another, better solution

    2) totally right! will add this to the todo list

    3. how many ads do you keep per group? as far as I see, from the things already implemented in AdvAds, the ad groups are the feature that needs most optimization, so I am very thankful for any feedback I can get on them.

    1) Oh, surely there are better methods, depending on the objective…but if the goal is to quickly get to one’s desired selection and we’re gonna use a drop-down menu, I for one find it cumbersome to first scroll through all my Ads if I want an Ad Group — whereas, again, Ad Groups will surely almost always be outnumbered by individual Ads so it would be quicker if nothing else scrolling through them. Just a thought!

    3) I’m still cobbling together my overall advertising strategy, such as it is, but already I can say that most Advanced Ads Ad Groups have a membership in the double digits. But actually, I have to correct myself here: it seems like your plugin automatically culls the display list to the last eight units added!

    do I understand you correctly and in 3) you are saying there are no more than 8 ads displayed? I keep my groups smaller so I haven’t tested that and I haven’t implemented such a limitation.

    Yes, I saw the WP system prompt about your plugin…a little afraid to update right now ’cause of the reorganization you made (if I understand your Changelog notes correctly) with the Ads, Ad Groups, and Ad Placements…. ??

    Don’t worry about the update. It only concerns the auto injections. The old settings still work, but you will be asked to set up auto injections with placements manually.

    Oh, okay…not sure what auto injections are and not sure what ad placements are but if no settings are changed then I’m not as wary of updating!
