My client has been using UPS Shipping Method for all products. He wants to add a Flat Rate option for only a few small products so that if those products are purchased individually, the shipping costs will be cheaper than UPS, but still allow UPS as an option if they want it shipped faster.

So I set up a “small item” shipping class and assign test product to that class. The customer can now choose either UPS or Flat Rate in the cart as planned. However, if another product gets added to the cart that isn’t in that same small item class, the Flat Rate is still an option which isn’t good. I need to make it so that if items in the cart exist that are not part of that “small item” shipping class, the Flat Rate option goes away and only the UPS option will be available.

Will this plugin help me achieve this?

    Hi @ludachrisgsx,

Apologies for missing out the query. Yes, using this plugin you can achieve the feature of hiding flat rate based on Shipping classes.

You just need to define the shipping class and the flat rate ID in the settings and this should resolve the problem. For reference, you can always look at the video of the plugin.
