    Hi,

I’ve been implementing wppizza for a client and in this case, there’s something that I’m not sure how to fix: all the same menu items are available for take-out and delivery, but delivery is only available in the evening while take-out is available at lunch time and evening.

How would I go about setting the wppizza opening hours to best suit these needs? Needless to say I need the online ordering capability for both these cases.

Not sure is something can be done right there or if this is more of a feature request…

Anyways, thanks in advance to anyone who could point me in the right direction.

    Have a nice day

    Hi

it doesn’t really allow that at the moment, but I’m working on something that let’s you “time” your menu so to speak. (i.e make everything in your “pizza” category available from 9:00 to 12:00 for example and all your pasta from 13:00 – 17:00 (or whatever variation you would like)

(….although that won’t distinguish between takeout only and delivery mind you)

either way , that will probably take another week or so as i’m somewhat busy with other commitments at the moment

having read through your post again and seeing that your items are the same regardless changing opening hours wont really help you (as they are just that and only distinguish between being able to put something in the cart or not)

at this moment in time, you’d probably have to write a js function that preselects (and then disables) the checkbox that lets you select self pickup depending on whatever time it is….

i might – at some point – make this customisable from within the plugin, but at the moment no promises (or ETA) I’m afraid

    Hi Olly,

Sorry it took me so long to see your reply, work’s been kinda busy…

Thanks for the tip, a .js solution will be good enough for now, I’ll do that!

Thanks again and have a very nice day
