    Hello,

today I had two problems with Duplicator installation locally.

#1. The first was because Google Captcha in the admin page.
After the DUlpicator installation, I can insert my admin name, username but, because Google API are no available locally. Intead the standard “I’m not a Robot” window, I have this message: “ERROR for site owner: Invalid domain for site key”.
The solution was to remove manually the plug-in from the wp-content/plugins folder. Maybe can you do something to prevent this error? Like an option to disable it during the installation?

#2. the second was more complicated to find. When you completed the Duplicator installation, the plug-in give you a button (Site Login) to go to the wp-admin page. The problem is that this http link is tooo long… So, inside the ITheme Security plug-in there is an option called “System Tweaks/Filter Long URL Strings” . So, because this option was ON, I had an error when I tried to do to the wp-admin after

I spend hours to understand this. Maybe it can help someone.

    Bye bye!

    Francesco

  • Hey @cecofuli,

    You have a couple options:

    1. On step 1 of the installer under options, you can set the safe mode option. This will disable all plugins.

    2. On step 3 of the installer under options, you can select individual plugins you would like disabled.

In both cases, you can re-enable them after you log back into the admin.

    Hope that helps~

No problem… the options are not really visible to most people, you are not the first to ask this ??

    Cheers~
