    I select one gallery(borusseum-01) and use thumbnails on my post.(Please see picture A)
    picture A

    This gallery(borusseum-01) has 7 pictures.(Please see picture B)
    picture B

    Then I can see 7 thumbnails in my post.(Please see picture C)
    picture C

    When I click the one of thumbnails, it shows a larger one.
    My questions are:
    1.This gallery(borusseum-01) only has 7 pictures, why it shows other galleries’s pictures in this view ?(Please see the red box picture D)
    (There are 18 pictures in three different galleries on my post.)
    I just want it to show 7 pictures of this gallery(borusseum-01).

    2.I don’t like file name or description below the picture, could I cancel it?(Please see the red box of picture D)

    Hi @haskey0104

    We are happy to help.

    Are you using another gallery display on that same page?
    Maybe a slideshow? Our Simplelightbox effect will show all the photos from any NextGen Gallery that it’s being loaded into that same page.

    To remove the description below the picture, please follow these instructions.

    Go to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS
    Copy and paste this code, then click on “Publish”.

    ‘‘
    /*Simplelightbox – remove the caption*/
    .simple-lightbox .sl-caption {
    display: none !important;
    }
    ‘‘

    Thank you for helping.

    Question 2 is OK.It is work.

    Question 1 : I am just using 3 NextGEN Galleries in this page. All of 3 NextGEN Galleries are displayed by Basic Thumbnail.

    And I test for question 1 in my sample post.
    Just use two NextGEN Galleries( gallery A & gallery B ) in this post.
    And there are no other words or images in this post.

    gallery A – 6 pictures
    gallery B – 3 pictures
    Situation 1 : A use Basic Thumbnail, B use Basic Thumbnail
    Situation 2 : A use Basic Thumbnail, B use Basic Slideshow
    Situation 3 : A use Basic Thumbnail, B use ImageBrowser

    Situation 1 :
    Thumbnail A shows 6 pictures.(After click any one of Thumbnails,it shows 9 pictures totally.)
    Thumbnail B shows 3 pictures.(After click any one of Thumbnails,it shows 9 pictures totally.)

    Situation 2 :
    Thumbnail A shows 6 pictures.(After click any one of Thumbnails,it shows 9 pictures totally.)
    Slideshow B shows 3 pictures.(After click any one of slides,it shows 9 pictures totally.)

    Situation 3 :
    Thumbnail A shows 6 pictures.(After click any one of Thumbnails,it shows “7” pictures totally.)
    Imagebrowser B shows 3 pictures.(After click any one of Images,it shows “7” pictures totally.)

    Maybe there are some bugs in this plugin ?

    Hi @haskey0104

    Indeed, our Simplelightbox effect will show all the photos from any NextGen Gallery that it’s being loaded into that same page.

    That means that it will join all the images into one lightbox.
    Of course, you can try other Lightbox Effects to check the one that works for you.

    Please, keep us posted.

    Thank you for the reply.

    Because I usually use many NextGen Galleries (Basic Thumbnail) in one page.
    And one gallery presents for one subject.

    When the viewer visit my page A and read subject A, then click Thumbnail of gallery A, but lightbox will show all the photos of all galleries in my page A.

    This will cause the viewer confusion easily.

    Could you improve your Simplelightbox to allow user to choose “show all pictures of all galleries in one page” or “show all pictures of a current gallery in one page” in the future ?

    Hi @haskey0104,

    Can you please try a different setting in “Gallery -> Other Options -> Lightbox Effects -> What must the lightbox be applied to?” and select “only apply to NextGen images”

    Please let us know if this changes anything.

    It is work.
    Besides simplelightbox, other Lightbox Effects works for me.

    Thank you for the helping.
    Your NextGen Gallery is very useful.
