Using a feed from Anchor.fm and always have two podcasts published on the same date, one morning, one evening.

The first post publishes with the correct date and an hour or two within the correct time. The second post uses the next day’s date instead of the proper date, and the time is several hours off.

    Hey @kpont,

Really sorry for the delay, I must’ve missed the notification for this thread!
The time/date may vary according to your server time. If the episode was recorded in one timezone, but the server is in another (or UTC, for example) it may mess up the timing a little bit.

You can manually change the date of your WordPress post if needed, or perhaps ask your hosting company to change the timezone of your server, if possible.

In Anchor.fm I’m uploading both podcasts minutes apart and setting the publication time for the first in the AM and the second in the PM of the same date.

When the new posts are generated in WordPress they are always posted with consecutive dates. The first podcast is the proper date and the second is always the next day.

I’ll try choosing earlier posting times on the same dates to see if this solves it.

I’m updating the posts each time to the proper dates and times, but it’s frustrating to have to do this as the plugin otherwise would be hands-free.

Thanks for responding and for the plugin!

Yeah I’d recommend to also check the server timezone as well and plan the dates according to that. As mentioned above, if the server is in a totally different timezone, it may appear in the next date on your own timezone.

Hope this makes sense, and please don’t hesitate to reach out again if you have any other questions!
