Two outdated files

    I am trying to update files bundled in my theme London Stars (https://themeforest.net/item/london-stars-responsive-woocommerce-theme/11290821) but there are two files that wouldn’t update no matter where I put them.

    The other outdated files got updated as soon as I put them in the woocommerce folder, except “content-product.php” and “content-product_cat.php”
    And the (very nice) woocommerce support team told me that I won’t be able to access my settings until these files are updated. FYI, the settings page shows “Action failed. Please refresh the page and retry”

    Been trying to reach the theme author for days now, with no luck.
    I just need any possible suggestions that help me open the settings page to make the plugin work.

  • Maybe the author has not updated these files. Did you compare them (old vs new )?
    You can try to use the code from woocommerce files to replace the code in your theme files

    Probably the theme works fine, I think the theme author update this file in the next theme release.

    The theme authors needs to do it; ideally they should only bundle files they change and NOT the entire template directory from WC. Makes maintenance easier.

    @mpbm23 I managed to update the files, still can’t open the settings page of woocommerce, so I guess I’ll submit a ticket asking for support, unless you have any suggestions for me?

    @TheBigBongTheory I’d wait on the theme author for an update but they are unreachable for days so totally unreliable to keep waiting on when there are deadlines to meet ??

    @mike Jolley Yes, that completely makes sense, I wish I had more information before buying this theme. Hunting for another theme that will let me create an online marketplace.

    Also, if you guys know any theme (preferably with a good support team- so I can at least reach them), I’d love to research on it.
