I was able to successfully create two oliometers, one for fundraising total since the charity started, and another showing just 2014 donations.

When I select the skins, (one vertical, one horizontal) one of them always breaks…meaning, the preview under the Oliometer Details sections goes from showing me the proper image, to showing me a browser default for a missing image. Once it is broken, I cannot seem to change the skin, resave, and recover it. If I create a new one, it works until I need to make a save to one of the two active oliometers. Once I save one, it seems that it is the other one that breaks (aka, loses its image again).

    Any thoughts for me?

I think the issue seems to be with the oliometer widget itself. It does not seem to support two oliometers placed within the same widget area (one after the other).

I cannot add two oliometers into the same widget area using the oliometer widget. However, if I delete one of the oliometers from the widget, and add a separate text box, with just the [olimometer id=4], (still within the same widget area – in this case a Per Page Area Homewidget), then I can get both oliometers to show up properly…its just a little extra work to style them to look the same.

I believe losing the image preview within the oliometer management interface had to do with old oliometers some of which were updated after the upgrade from oliometer 3.5 to 3.51. After recreating them all under 3.51 I no longer lose the image previews after changing them.

OK, to be more precise on what I found, I believe the Oliometer widget cannot handle two oliometers placed one after the other.

But, there is a simple work-around. If you separate them with a text box widget, so the widget needs to process the text before it can move onto the second oliometer, then both oliometers show up fine – even if there is no text in the text box.

Hi, I’m afraid I can’t reproduce this at all. I’ve managed to add as many Olimometers as I like, one straight after the other, with no fiddling around at all. I think it may be a conflict in your theme. Are you using a standard theme I can download to take a look?

Just to prove I’ve not making it up… here’s a screenshot using the standard “Twenty Fourteen” theme:
