Two menus on the header not working

  • Hi,

    I put two menus on the header but it works only in the homepage, when i click any other button on the menu it changes and copy the left menu on the right side. Any suggest?

  • Hi @francipisco03 nice site. I think the issue here is that different pages are using different headers. For example, if you click edit (not edit with elementor) for the “portalevino” page and scroll down, there is a section titled OceanWP Settings. Under it, switch there’s a header tab with the Header Style option. Here you can select the header you want to display for the page.

    Yes i tried but, I don’t know how to make a custom header.
    I tried on a page to customize the header and I succeeded but even if I do this for every page, I will not be able to customize custom post type and they will display the wrong menu. My question now is, how do I set a custom header for the entire site?

    @francipisco03 can you please share how you added two menus?
    For creating custom headers, there are many plugins for Elementor.

    I just put the center logo header and then in customize I set one menu (i think the one that goes to the right) and in the menu settings I set the main that goes to the right. To customize the header with elementor I need to pay… If so I think I will leave just one menu.

    There’s absolutely a way, please go to Customize > Header > General, and select the Center header style.
    What is assigned as your main menu (Appearance > Menus) will go on the right side. So you’ll need to create the left menu too (Appearance > Menus), and assign it correctly. Find all other settings via Header > General and Header > Menu (Customizer).

    Thank you @francipisco03 . Once the header is selected in the Customizer, it should apply to all pages unless they use a different option.
    Under the Edit page>OceanWp Settings>Header, when you select the Center Header, an option to select the left menu will appear. Maybe some of the pages are using a different menu here.
    You can create custom headers and footers using free Elementor addons. There are many of them available. But not necessary to fix this issue.
