Two issues- stuck now!

I am unable to get any support for this theme an cannot launch until two issues are resolved:

I am unable to get the vintage bike photo off of the home page, despite having featured image posts. It shows the text but not my image. It remains a vintage bike.

Secondly, under the modality customizer I see the “content boxes” section and can edit it, but no such section actually appears on my homepage.
