Two Gateways / Switching gateway

We’ve integrated a custom payment gateway for our Paid Memberships Pro (PMPro) setup, instead of using popular options like PayPal or Stripe. Everything functions well, but PMPro typically supports only one gateway at a time.

Our goal is to provide users with two payment gateway options: Adyen and GoCardless. I’m seeking advice on whether this is feasible. Specifically, I’m interested in knowing if it’s possible to select the appropriate gateway dynamically, perhaps through a webhook, when a user clicks the “purchase” button. It’s crucial that all sensitive data, including API keys, remain secure and stored on the backend.

Could you offer any suggestions or insights on implementing this feature?
