I have recently successfully set up Two Factor Authentication in Wordfence using Google Authenticator on my iPhone. I would like to also set it up on my iPad for the same website so if I don’t have my iphone with me I can use my iPad instead but now it is set up on my iphone the QR code is no longer visible. Is it possible to set up on 2 devices please?

    Hi @mikes46,

It’s currently not possible to have two different 2FA codes registered under one account on Wordfence.

However, if you use an application called Authy, it syncs 2FA accounts across platforms. That means you can install Authy on both your iPhone and iPad, and the 2FA codes displayed on both will be the same.

    Hi there,

wouldn’t it be possible to just use the ‘text version’ (shown below the QR-code in wordfence login security settings) on a second device?

    Peace, Ed’

@eddiebouncer no because when you have used the qr code on one device it disappears. Using Authy app does the job though.

    Hi Mike,

Once you scanned the QR-code it’s gone – I meant when you see both the QR-code and the text-code initially.
Anyway good to hear it’s all working nicely now.

    Peace, Ed’
