    Hello.

I have uploaded 2 animations using Edge Suite having

    1) Different names
    2) Different IDs

I’m add the shortcode with different ID but nothing shows. Single animation is working. Please tell me how to add different animations on single page in WordPress.

The latest plugin has many errors and I was not showing 2 animations on single page also OAM file upload issues.

Due to this plugin issues my client had cancelled the order. My animations was perfect but integration process didn’t go well.

Please refer to the thread “Not working after latest Adobe CC update” and in particular the comment:

    Hi Everyone,

Working with Timm we have found a possible workaround to this problem and a way to import OAM files into a WP site. This may give you a way to get past work bottlenecks while Timm is building a new plugin.

But be VERY CAREFUL, this is a lightly tested workaround and it uses the non-production version of the Edge Suite plugin, ES5.

If you are still interested, and don’t mind some risk please do the following:

You need to do 2 things:

In Edge Animate, as part of your animation you need to do two steps:
Add a preloader (wait cursor) to your Edge Animate animation. This is set as part of the Stage.
Check the box for “Publish preload DOM as separate file” under Web Publish settings.
Use the newest version of the plugin, ES5. And to reiterate Timm’s note, “DON’T EVEN TRY TO USE THIS IN PRODUCTION! ” so use with caution. You can get ES5 here:
    https://github.com/ti2m/edge-suite-wp/tree/ea5
If this workaround works for you, great. Please let us all know.

If it doesn’t work, let us know what the problems are that you are running into.

    Hi,

Following the instructions above, I now have no difficulty in uploading and displaying animations. I’m using them in WordPress using there Avada theme. Before the upgrade it was possible to display two animations, responsively, on the same page but now only the last animation displays. The preloader for the first animation displays (sometimes?) but the animation never loads.

A separate issue is that responsive animations are now no longer contained by container divs, but initially display at full stage size. They are responsive but only in relation to screen size and not to any containing html.

For one full width animation per page, the current Edge Suite build is working, but for use in, for instance, 2/3 1/3 column layouts, it won’t work – for me at least.

I have seen someone using Javascript to apply a changing ratio setting, dependent on screen-size, to a container in a site using just html, but I think I already have enough conflicting scripts on my WordPress page to try this.

    Hi,

I have commited an update to the above mentioned repo. Multiple compositions should now work within one page, please test!

@philnicholl I came across the responsive issue. Can you maybe play around with scaleToFit or other options to see if that does anything. Could otherwise someone figure out how that is supposed to work on the forum or somewhere else. This doesn’t seem to be Edge Suite specific. I get the same problem when simply wrapping a DIV with e.g. width 300px around the stage DIV in the .html file. I can’t get the animation to respect the width of the parent container. If we figure this out then it shouldn’t be a problem to make it work in Edge Suite.

I downloaded the Github version today and tested it, it works!!! 2 animation on one page: https://webbannerlatenmaken.nl/banners/html5-banners/

    Thank you so much!

For others: make sure you also check “Host runtime files on Adobe CDN” in the Publish Settings. Did that wrong the 1st time and it didn’t work ??

Using the new, experimental build I was able to get 3 animations to run on the same page at the same time.

Marking as resolved as this should be fixed in the new dev version. If you experience any problems with the dev version please open a new issue.
