Two Domains in Multisite but same settings…

  • My scenario for setting up a Multisite / Network on WordPress 3.9.1 is to have two Communities (BuddyPress) under two different domains with two different languages per domain – Russian and English. I need the content to be different on these domains, but all the settings, widget positions, modules settings, etc synchronized between the two. is it possible to accomplish such a task?

    I tried WPML, but it does not work as expected. I do not need to translate anything. The both communities have to be all separate, but the same plugins, and identical setups.

    Joomla’s MightySites extension allows to perform the exact thing I need, but is there anything available for WP 3.9?
