Two different meta data fields

We have Yoast SEO, where you can access and edit the “Meta description” field through the Snipped editor.
But below the Yoast SEO panel there is another panel, “Meta Info” with a “Description” field and a “Keywords” field.
Should both Meta Description fields contain the exact same text? (Do they even both need to be filled out or is one redundant?)
And what’s the relation between Yoast’s “Focus Keyword” and the Meta Info “Keywords”?
