I have a problem with the dates that display on the list of posts and on the blog posts themselves.

We are creating a new version of the website. As part of this work, we are flipping the existing texts and setting them backdated (to when the entries were actually published). Publication dates are to be displayed, not update dates.

The problem is that both are displayed. I have the corresponding option unchecked in the theme customization settings.

How can I solve this problem?

I have the same problem after updating to 3.3.0. Also I can reproduce it on a clean install, looks like a bug of 3.3.0 version.

Not sure if it’s related, but while facing this same problem we also got the following error:

Se ha producido un error del tipo E_COMPILE_ERROR en la línea 148 del archivo /home/mysite/public_html/wp-content/themes/neve/autoloader.php. Mensaje de error: require(): Failed opening required ‘/home/mysite/public_html/wp-content/themes/neve/inc/compatibility/starter_content.php’ (include_path=’.:/opt/alt/php74/usr/share/pear’)

I checked your site and you still use the previous version of the theme where this issue occurred. Please update to the latest version of the theme and the issue won’t appear anymore.
