    Hi!

I’ve just started a site called diyarttherapy.com . The trouble I’ve run into is that I need two of the pages to have blog like streams. One will have my personal thoughts on the subject, and the other will be a stream of articles on DIY art projects. I need each of these to be like a blog, instead of just a regular page, so that a viewer can click on a title of an article and pull it up – without just having everything posted on one page that goes on and on and on and on.

Therefore, although I want everything to be housed in this one website, with preferably one install ( I am NOT an advanced user), two of the pages on the website must be blog like. I’d like to be able to make posts on articles, add tags, and have a blog appearance that allows viewers to click an article name to pull up the article.

Please help. I am not tech savvy, but I want to get this website up and running and I don’t want pages that are cumbersome and will drive people away. I also don’t want to do what someone once had me do with another website, which was to post article titles on a main website built with a website builder (Webly), and then house the articles on the blog. I want everything to be on one site for a better appearance and ease of use.

If you’re going to use Multisite, you will need to learn some technical things.

Multisite CAN do all that, but you need to be okay with SFTP/SSH and editing files manually.

Is there an alternative to Multisite?

I suppose I could learn the technical, but I’m not tech savvy and moreover, I was hoping to have the site up and running soon. I clicked the link and about 90 percent of it made no sense to me!

    Use categories ??

Then domain.com/category/personal/ and domain.com/category/diy/ would be your main links.

Put in a static front page that links to one or the other, and off you go.

you can get a blog on wordpress.com to play around with that idea.
