two 301 Redirects instead of 1!

Hi. I am getting two 301 redirects instead of one why is that..?!
When someone visits my site lets say example.com, first it gets redirects to https://example.com and then https://www.example.com
.it should directly redirect to https://www.example.com instead of creating extra https://example .com request..!
How can i fix that.?!
