    Hi there!

I have a weird problem: The jetpack twitter widget does not show up on safari anymore. iOS, firefox, etc. all is fine. I do not know when this started. I do have all recent updates installed.

    Thanks for your help!

    Regards, Arno

    Hi @gemmaevans!

    Here it is: https://www.it-must-schwing.de.

There was a new Jetpack update, which I installed 2 min ago. Still on iOS it does work but not on Safari … btw Firefox on MacOS works too.

    Thanks and cheers, Arno

    Thanks Arno –

Which version number of iOS and Safari won’t work?

I don’t see a previous report about this mentioned on Github:
    https://github.com/Automattic/jetpack/issues?utf8=%E2%9C%93&q=is%3Aissue+is%3Aopen+twitter+widget

Feel free to add one here https://github.com/Automattic
I’ll be happy to do it once I hear back from you with those version numbers.

    Hi @lizkarkoski!

    iOS works.

macOS version 10.13.5, with Safari version 11.1.1 does not work. Both versions are the latest available.

    Thanks for checking!

    Cheers, Arno

    Thanks Arno –

I’ve made a note about this report internally.

Can you try one more thing for me?

    1. Disable every plugin on the site.
    2. Sign out of your WordPress.com account.
    3. Clear browser cache.
    4. Sign back in to WordPress.com account.
    5. Re install only the Jetpack plugin.
    6. Add other plugins back one at a time, to see which one could be interfering with the Twitter widget working in Safari browsers.

I checked in Chrome and the Twitter widget is working there.

    @arno007

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so we’re going to mark this as resolved. If you have any further questions, please start a new thread.

    Hi again!

Since the Twitter widget is not showing up on Safari only, I did not try to follow the receipt you posted … I was hoping with new Jetpack releases the problem would disappear …

macOS version 10.13.5, with Safari version 11.1.1 does not work. Both versions are the latest available.

With the same setup, we are not able to replicate this issue. We can see the Twitter widget in the sidebar.

Are you using a Content Blocker or Safari extension that may be blocking the widget?

If so, please try disabling them, clearing your cache, and seeing if the issue persists.

    Thank you for your patience!
