Twitter widget not saving

The official Twitter widget I’ve always used on my page is no longer working. It allows me to move it to the sidebar area and enter configuration information, but when I click ‘Save,’ the button clicks but it doesn’t actually save and won’t embed on the page. Then, if I don’t delete the widget from the sidebar, when I try to reload or navigate away, it asks if I’m sure I want to do that because I have unsaved changes.

On the details page it says it has not been tested with the current version of WordPress, so that must be the issue. That’s unfortunate, I was very happy with the way it worked and haven’t been fond of others I’ve found. I posted this in a different forum, and it was suggested I post it here as well.
