    Hi all,

I want to use the Jetpack Twitter Widget. I have often see that a visitor need to activate on a page Twitter and say that he want to see the information from Twitter because Twitter is collecting information about him.
Is the Jetpack Twitter Widget ok with GDPR or is it collecting information?

    Thanks!

The widget simply embeds a Twitter timeline using Twitter’s own embed code.

All communication and data collection is done through Twitter, not Jetpack, so you’d have to refer to Twitter’s information on that: https://gdpr.twitter.com/

OK, thank you! I think I can not use it because a person need to allow the connection to Twitter actively before there is one. Is that right?

I’m not sure what you mean.

All the widget does is display your Twitter timeline, no interaction from the person viewing it is required.
