I have spent over an hour searching Google and this forum and have not found a solution to my problem.

I want to use Yoast to set Twitter cards for posts and pages on this site; I already use it on other sites that I manage. I have added the Twitter username in settings, both Facebook and Twitter meta data is enabled in Yoast settings, and I have even created a Facebook App Id and put that into Yoast just in case. I have also entered dummy content on the home page.

Yet the Twitter Card Validator is showing this:

    INFO: Page fetched successfully
    INFO: 6 metatags were found
ERROR: No card found (Card error)

The site does not have any caching, optimization or other plugins, nor does the robots.txt file show anything useful:

    User-agent: *
    Disallow: /wp-admin/
    Allow: /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php

The Facebook Sharing Debugger is showing these errors:

    Inferred Property
The ‘og:image’ property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags.

    Missing Properties
    The following required properties are missing: og:url, og:type, og:title, og:image, og:description, fb:app_id

I have also deactivated ALL plugins and the current theme, and I’m still getting the same error from the card validator. I can’t test on Twitter itself because the account is live, and I don’t have access personally anyway. What else could be causing this? I’m on a deadline and would appreciate any help you can offer. Thank you!

I figured it out — had to flush the cache on the web host’s website. Please close out. If you can delete this post entirely, I’d appreciate it.
