Twitter Tools Social Broken on Multisite

  • Update Twitter Tools today to my WordPress Multisite / Network install running 3.4.2. Installed the necessary Social plugin. Users page returning 500 error constantly when installed and working fine when deactivated – clearly something interfering with Users. Also, 500 error also returned when clicking the “Tweets” area from admin panel. Site also slows right down. Clearly some issues with this update and integration with Social – particularly and specifically true of two unique and separate multisite installs.

  • I’m having some strange multi-site issues too. The plugin mostly seems to work on on blog, but mostly doesn’t work on another (not picking up tweets). Are others have multi-site issues?

    I have an issue with downloading tweets on a multi-site account. All of the tweets from 2.4 upgraded just fine, but TT’s not been able to poll for tweets since that time. I’ve looked for all options that would “jiggle the handle” but haven’t found anything yet. Manually forcing a refresh gets a “Tweets are downloading…” notice that never updates.

    Social works just fine for me. TT works fine for displaying tweets, but I’m not getting it to do the Twitter Toolsy things that it does so well.
