Twitter Tools in Zombie mode

I uninstalled, deleted the plugin and deleted the tables twitter tools created. I also emptied the cron table. So how can this happen, https://dancameron.org/general/pwnced

The plugin must be the culprit since it’s the only one to pull in twitter feeds to my blog.

So what’s the proper uninstall procedure. It’s not just a deactivate for me.
