Twitter Tools Daily Archive and Hashtag Sorting

  • Hi all! I’m trying to get certain tweets from my twitter stream onto my wp powered site. I’ve tried FeedList and a RSS feed of the specific hashtag search, with weird error results.

    I’m wondering if anyone has figured out a way to

    a) use Alex Kings excellent Twitter Tools to create the daily archive page with only specific hashtags showing up, or

    b) figured out a good RSS tool for WordPress besides FeedList to put a RSS feed based on specific search on search.twitter.com up on a Page on WP site.

    Thoughts?

  • I’m trying to do the same thing. I’d like tweets with a certain hashtag to be auto-posted to my wordpress with proper author info.

    Any ideas on how to accomplish this?

    I too have been searching all over for this – it seems such a simple, and pretty obvious request.

    Wouldn’t it be GREAT to have a https://twistori.com type feed? I’m sure it will come one day.

    it claims to do this sort of thing. Not much of a programmer myself, so it will take me a while to decipher it, but it looks promising.

    If anyone else can simplify the instructions for a single column version into WordPress, in any possible way at all, I’d much appreciate it!

    I use lifestream plugin on my personal WordPess blog and it does a daily digest (I don’t remember offhand if it’s tracking hastags…) – you can see the activity on my front page and the digest via the category link I posted.

    Maybe you can jimmy something using Yahoo Pipes and feed it into a plugin like wp-o-matic -> done it as an experiment to splice several feeds together and then drip feed them into WP blogs.

    It takes a bit of cleaning up to get it into showroom condition, but the results are promising.

    Let me knwo if I should perhaps put a post together about this and how far I managed to get?
