Twitter Tools Breaks Theme

  • Each time I install and activate Twitter Tools, when I add it to the side bar, whether I use widgets or the include on a non-dynamic sidebar, it breaks the sidebar, causing everything that loads after Twitter Tools to stop working properly. Any ideas how to fix this? I can give the URL to the theme I’m working on if you like.

  • don’t know, but having exact same problem. and alexking’s website has been down for many months, so we can’t get support either.

    I’m thinking alot of it, has to do with some funky things in his code. Its displaying ul li ul li twice, which is probably whats breaking it.

    There’s another Twitter plugin, but it only works in PHP5, so I’m currently on the lookout for another one at the moment.

    Twitter Tools works fine on my site. The code it produces appears perfectly valid to me.

    So, I’d say your theme is broken, somehow.
