    I’m using a premade theme and the twitter code is in the footer (tho’ it appears on the right sidebar, I don’t see any code there). The time stamp is saying 41 years ago. I don’t mind removing this entirely and using Twitter’s code or a plug-in but 1) can anyone see why this is messing up the time and 2) if I remove this, should there be other twitter code in the template somewhere?

    Thanks!

    This is what appears in the style css within the footer :

    .twitter-timestamp {
    font-size: 10px;
    }

  • Try looking in your theme’s function.php for the code generating the Twitter display.

    hi esmi, thanks.

    This is what is there:

    <?php
    if ( function_exists('register_sidebar') )
        register_sidebars(2, array(
            'before_widget' => '
    <ul>',
            'after_widget' => '</ul>
    ',
            'before_title' => '<h2>',
            'after_title' => '</h2>',
        ));
    ?>

    ?

    Then the Twitter function must be elsewhere in your theme.
