Twitter takes wrong URL for the social media auto publish

  • When I’m using social media auto publish plugin, I set up auto publish to my twitter account. But after update sometimes twitter publishes the wrong URL. The text comes ok but issues with the attached URL.

  • Did you checked the message format?
    Please make sure that there is spaces before and after the {PERMALINK} format, otherwise the texts may be append to the urls.
    Please check it and let us know.

    We didn’t change the format recently. And it was working fine until the update. It attaches an entirely different post to the tweet. And the text is taken from the current post.

    There is no new changes to the twitter section in the update(except an extra check for 280 character limit before tweeting which is added as a bug fix for mb_substr function issue with Twitter) and everything working fine for us.
